MIRI: The public is invited to attend the Miri Division Al-Quran Recitation Ceremony, to be held at the Darul Khairat Bakam Mosque here on July 27 to 28.
Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan will be gracing the ceremony on July 28.
The recitation ceremony this year is themed “Unity is the Core of Civilised Malaysia and Prosperous Sarawak (Perpaduan Teras Malaysia Madani dan Sarawak Maju Makmur)”.
A preparatory meeting for the event was held at the Miri Division Resident Office at Miri Islamic Complex Sarawak here yesterday.
The meeting was chaired by Shamsudin Basir, the Islamic Religious Officer of Miri Division.
