Raghad presents ‘duit raya’ to 60 recipients

KUCHING: A total of 220 people attended the Aidilfitri Open House organised by Ragad Foundation at a renowned hotel here on Friday.

The event was also attended by Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib, wife of Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud.

During the ceremony, Raghad presented ‘duit raya'(cash aid) to 60 recipients.

The recipients came from Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah and Rumah Penjagaan Anak Saudara Kita.

The donations were sponsored by Red Profile Sdn Bhd, Genesis Circle Sdn Bhd and Greenleaf Food and Beverage Sdn Bhd.

Also present were Batang Lupar MP, Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim, chief executive officer of Yayasan Ragad, Datuk Riffai Husain, and chief executive officer of Red Profile Sdn. Bhd, Datuk Emma Ibrahim.
