KUCHING: The Rahmah Programme lessens the financial burden of the people in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year festivity.

The said programme, which was a collaboration between Democratic Action Party (DAP) Stampin with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, was held at Dewan Persatuan Kebajikan Masyarakat Taman Hui Sing today.

DAP Sarawak chairman Chong Chieng Jen’s special assistant Michael Kong Feng Nian said, in a statement, the programme has been strategically scheduled to coincide with the coming festivity, offering a timely respite for individuals and families as they prepare for the festivities.

With that, over the last two weekends before the Chinese New Year, DAP Stampin collaborated with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living to organise the Rahmah Programme at Farley Mall, Kuching City Mall, Everwin Batu Kawah and now Taman Hui Sing.

“Our collaboration with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living is a testament to our shared commitment towards the wellbeing of the people.
