KUCHING: Pre-Sale tickets for the 21st Rainforest world Music festival are available as of yesterday. The ticket price for adults is at RM131.20 for a day pass and RM343.20 for a three-day pass, while children aged between seven and twelve, the price is at RM67.60 and RM152.60 respectively. A one-day family package will be priced at RM270.40.
Tickets and festival updates are available online or from the ticketing agents listed at www.rwmf.net. Meanwhile, the Sarawak Tourism Board’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mary Wan Mering said that the early birds ticket sales have been a hit but only has ended yesterday .
She advised members of the public to take advantage of the presale ticket price, which is also offered at a discounted price.
“The Board is confident that this year’s festival will be the best ever with exotic world class musicians playing side by side with their counterparts representing all the continent of the world”, she added.
Besides the musical workshop and the stage performance, morning’s health and wellness programmes such as yoga, meditation, tai chi, as well as modern favourites such as the Zumba and Bodyjam will be featured this year.
The Rainforest World Music Festival is organised by Sarawak Tourism Board, supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Sarawak and endorsed by Tourism Malaysia.
The Festival will be held at the Sarawak Cultural Village from July 13 to 15. This Festival has been awarded the Top 25 Best Festivals in the World by Roots Magazine for 5 consecutive years.
