SEBUYAU: Residents in the Sebangan area can now breathe a sigh of relief as the upgrading of the ring bund at Slabi Sebangan cemetery is now fully completed.
A handing over ceremony for the completed project was held recently by Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Samarahan division assistant engineer Mohamad Ikhwan Mohamad Hafipi to cemetery site chairman Abu Bakar.
Sebuyau district officer’s representative Kelvin Unggin was present to witness the handover.
The project was funded under the Integrated Regional Samarahan Development Agency (IRSDA) and aimed to enhance the cemetery’s infrastructure.
Also present were the committee members involved in the project.
