KUCHING: A sum of RM211,000 in funding has been disbursed to 16 registered associations to support the execution of their planned activities.

Deputy Energy and Environmental Sustainability Minister Dr Hazland Abang Hipni said the financial assistance empowers these associations to move forward with their scheduled initiatives.

He expressed optimism that each association would use their allocated funds judiciously and responsibly, tailored to their specific needs.

“We hope that this funding can be used effectively to assist the associations in planning and conducting their respective activities in the future.

“I advise the associations to be wise in planning and managing their finances,” said the Demak Laut assemblyman in a statement today (Sept 10).

Recipients of this allocation include the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of SMK St Joseph, the Indian Association Kuching, the Sarawak Fishing Community Association, the Sarawak Islamic Student Welfare Association, the Demak Laut Village Committee, Tabuan Lama Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK), and the Kpg Goebilt Recreation Sports Club.
