KUCHING: Jalan McDougall leading to the Padang Merdeka intersection has been temporarily shut down since Sept 22 for the preparations of the Maulidur Rasul parade.
According to Kuching police chief ACP Ashmon Bajah, this closure commenced at 3 pm and will continue until the conclusion of the parade on Sept 28.
Additionally, Ashmon noted that a parade rehearsal is set for Sept 26, commencing at 8 am and lasting until its conclusion.
He urged the public to refrain from parking their vehicles on the roadside to prevent any disruptions to traffic flow during this period.
