KUCHING: The road near the INTAN roundabout along the Kuching/ Samarahan Expressway will be temporarily closed for road upgrading works.
The Public Works Department (JKR) said the affected routes are from Kuching to Samarahan, Samarahan to Mile 15, Mile 15 to Samarahan, Samarahan to Jalan Mohd Musa and Jalan Mohd Musa to Samarahan.
The department advised road users to exercise caution when driving along the road and to pay attention to traffic updates, direction, and signages along the construction site.
The upgrading work will last from March 27 to May 14, 2023.
According to JKR, it will inform the public from time to time of any changes to the date, time and areas involved in the maintenance work.
“Road users are also recommended to plan their journey ahead of time, especially in affected areas.
“We apologise for any inconveniences caused,” said JKR.
