KUCHING: The SHEDA Kuching Branch (SKB) Home & Property Roadshow 2023 promotes sustainable lifestyles.
Taking place at Vivacity Megamall, Kuching, the three-day event boasts over 20 booths featuring SHEDA members and non-members showcasing local properties and related products.
Aimed at providing a unique experience, the roadshow commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Deputy Public Health, Housing and Local Government Minister Michael Tiang, representing minister Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian yesterday (Nov 10).
The opening ceremony saw the presence of key figures, including organising chairman Steven Au, SHEDA vice president Datuk Sim Kiang Chiok, SHEDA president Augustine Wong, and Alliance Bank’s Mortgage Business Development vice president Chai Min Min.
During the event, Sim encouraged homebuyers to leverage the ongoing 1-MILIKI campaign, offering stamp duty exemptions for property purchases below RM500,000 and a 50 per cent exemption for properties between RM500,000 and RM1 million.
He also took the opportunity to announce a seminar on strata management by Sheraton Hotel, Kuching, on December 7, catering to property owners and those involved in strata properties.
Au, on the other hand, emphasised the opportunity for visitors to access information on properties, banking facilities, CCRIS reports and smart home solutions, all under one roof.
He said that Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad, a sponsor of the event, was promoting the Alliance Home Complete package, offering additional financing of up to RM150,000 for home buyers.
“Buyers spending a minimum of RM1,000 at any booth during the roadshow stand a chance to win the grand prize of a MiPlus Smart Home package worth RM3,999 in the “Buy & Win” Lucky Draw,” he said.
Various activities were held during the roadshow including gingerbread house and cookie decorating, building bricks for all ages, a meet-and-greet with Transformer’s Bumblebee, free popcorn giveaways, and free Christmas cookie sampling, ensuring a festive and informative atmosphere for attendees.
