PUSA: The number of the Barisan Nasional (BN) flags, posters and campaign materials should be increased to remind the people that the BN government has contributed much to the development in Batang Lupar parliamentary constituency.

This was stated by the BN candidate and incumbent for Batang Lupar Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim at a briefing here yesterday, which attended by more than 200 members of the BN election machinery. Rohani, who is also the Women, Family and Community Development Minister, reminded the Pusa BN Branch to continue to intensify efforts in the campaigning period.

The 11-day campaigning period should be used as best as possible with a neat plan. “Make every election like a new ‘war’ and we must also use new strategies in ensuring BN’s victory with a larger majority in the Batang Lupar parliamentary,” she said.

Rohani also slammed the tactic used by the opponents who use religion to politicise and influence local communities. “Do not tarnish Islam for personal or party interest in wanting to win in election. This is a straightforward approach taking advantage of religious sanctity,” she pointed out.
