SIBU: Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) Sibu will be holding a programme called ‘Dekat Dihati SibuFM Prihatin’ in conjunction with RTM’s 75th anniversary.
RTM Sibu/Kapit manager Saiful Arini said this programme aims to give back to the less fortunate in conjunction with the upcoming month of Ramadan.
He also said the public is encouraged to donate items, such as food and used clothes to the poor and orphans.
“Anyone who wants to donate items can send in their donation to RTM Sibu from now until March 31,” he said today (March 24).
Earlier, Saiful handed over a souvenir to the coordinator of the programme, Iskandar Joni at the RTM Sibu Lobby at Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg here.
He added that the donation from the public will be handed over to the recipients on April 1.
