PUTRAJAYA: Thanks to the Land and Survey Information System (eLASIS) by the Land and Survey Department, households across Sarawak can now easily access land office services online.

At the 80th National Land Council Meeting in Putrajaya today (Sept 12), Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan spoke about the success of this online system.

The meeting, led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, saw attendance from chief ministers and officials from all states.

Awang Tengah also shared that since 2009, Sarawak has achieved a ‘One Day Registration’ for land deeds. And in 2019, to make things even faster for people, the Sarawak Land and Survey Department began a ‘Same Day Registration’ service.

Also present was the Permanent Secretary of MUDeNR, Datuk Sr Zaidi Mahdi.
