KUCHING: The “Juh Makan Sama” buffet offers a variety of Sarawakian dishes, ranging from traditional to modern style.

Owner of Penn’s Catering, Penelope Ling said that some of the traditional dishes served for the buffet programmes include Linut with ikan terebuk masin, and tumpik, mixed with gula apong and a little bit of ice cream as a twist.

“We also have Teochew station, where we serve Teochew Oyster Omelette alongside various desserts like the kek lapis for customers to enjoy.

“Every dish that we have here represents Sarawak as a whole, because as we may know, Sarawak is a multiracial state,” she said.

She said this when met by reporters while hosting the buffet programme at 11Ridgeway here on Thursday (March 21).

Ling stated every weekend there would be different types of main dishes such as chicken rice and Sarawak Laksa.

She also invites everyone to come and enjoy the food and drinks served throughout the programme, which commences from March 14 until April 7.
