SCCI aims to provide best assistance to business community

KUCHING: The Sarawak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) aims to continue assisting and making Sarawak a developed and high income state by 2030.

The chamber’s 71st Annual General Meeting on Thursday (June 16) marked the SCCI’s continuation to provide the best assistance to the business community.

The meeting was held physically and virtually, and attended by members statewide.

SCCI president Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Openg said SCCI would continue to respond to and support the government’s mission as the state move towards the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030 objective.

The meeting’s speaker, SEDC Energy chief executive officer Robert Hardin acquainted members with the hydrogen landscape and initiatives in Sarawak, its latest projects and the commercial opportunities available.

Abdul Karim expressed his thanks to members for their continuing support and hoped that SCCI would continue to serve members for many years to come.
