KUCHING: The Sambas Scout Group from West Kalimantan visited the Sarawak scout gallery at Sarawak Scout Headquarters, Jalan Batu Lintang recently.
Sambas Scout leader Bapak Mursidin S.Ag said the visit was a follow-up to the goodwill mission visit of the Scout Commissioner’s group led by Chief Scout Commissioner of Sarawak Capt Zainuddin Tan Sri Hamdan to Sambas Province in West Kalimantan in September.
Earlier, in the familiarisation session, he thanked the scout commissioners who were welcoming their visit.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Scout Commissioner John Lim Boon Beng expressed hopes that the visit will strengthen the relationship between Sambas Scouts Group and the city of Kuching through the cooperation of both scout groups.
Also present were Training Commissioner Ngatiman Sarepin, International Scout Commissioner Lu Cho Heng, Program Commissioner Abang Zulfikar Abang Zaini, Sarawak Scout Council member Mohd Yusuf Long, Executive Secretary Zasran Abdullah and other commissioners.
