KUCHING: Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) collaborated with Malaysian Business Angel Network (MBAN) Sarawak Chapter, Sinisana Technologies and Origo Eco to conduct a talk on information technology (IT) and sustainability.

According to a press release issued by SDEC on today (Oct 12), the talk was a landmark event that brought together technology, sustainability and environmental consciousness.

The talk was a resounding success, showcasing how businesses can play a vital role in mitigating the environmental impact of their operations and it underscored the importance of collaborative efforts between technology pioneers and sustainability advocates in shaping a greener and more sustainable future.

“The highlight of the event was the announcement of Origo Eco’s equity crowdfunding campaign aimed at building the world’s first compostable and natural blockchain pallet.

“The Origo Pallet Solution, a groundbreaking innovation in the supply chain industry, promises to revolutionise the way goods are transported, tracked, and stored while significantly reducing deforestation and carbon footprint.”

In a similar development, Sinisana Technologies and Origo Eco joined forces to create the world’s first compostable, wood-free pallet that is equipped with traceability technology, which has garnered international attention for its potential to address the pressing challenges of sustainability and traceability in the supply chain.
