MIRI: Responding to public complaints about a flash flood near the traffic light junction at Old Riam Road and Miri Bypass early Tuesday (Dec 5), Senadin assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin has directed his DUN Senadin Service Centre team to investigate the issue.
The team, led by Cr Kueh Chie Tiong from SUPP Riam Sub-Branch, conducted a site inspection in response to the concerns raised by the community.
Other members of the service team, including Cr Yap Siew Jin, Liew Han Ping, William Sim, and Donny Khoo, joined Kueh in examining the area.
During the inspection, the team documented the blocked drainage with photographs and subsequently submitted a report to the relevant authorities, urging prompt action to address the situation and prevent future occurrences.
