BINTULU: Seven people sustained minor injuries when their vehicles collided at KM19 Jalan Bintulu-Sibu at about 7.00am yesterday.
According to Bintulu Fire and Rescue Service chief, Di-Hatta Gobel, the accident involved two 4WD vehicles.
“We received a call at 7.56am and eight firemen were dispatched to the scene,” he said.
A Toyota pick-up driven by a female driver collided with a Toyota Hilux with six people inside. The Toyota Hilux was heading for Bintulu from Tatau.
“All of the victims were attended to by passers-by before the arrival of the firemen,” said Di-Hatta.
A male driver whose injuries were more serious than the others was taken in an ambulance to the hopsital.
