BELADIN: An elderly man has been reported missing in Kampung Hilir Beladin since Monday night.
The victim is identified as 69-year-old Dillah Rigan, who is also known as Nek Dillah.
According to Awang Subhi Awg Halil, the head of Kampung Hilir Beladin, the victim did not inform his family members before leaving the house on Monday night.
“A police report has been filed, prompting the initiation of a search and rescue (SAR) operation led by rescue agencies in collaboration with local residents.
“Despite ongoing efforts, the operation remains at a standstill with no leads obtained so far,” he said when contacted yesterday (Jan 17).
He described that Nek Dillah as having a small build, it is believed that he was wearing a dark blue shirt and black trousers at the time of his disappearance.
