KUCHING: Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) recently paid a courtesy call on the Sarawak Customs Department.
The delegation from SFC, led by its chief executive officer Abang Arabi Abang Aimran, was welcomed by Sarawak Customs director Dr Ahmad Taufik Sulaiman at Wisma Kastam, Petra Jaya here.
According to SFC, the meeting focused on collaboration to enhance the success of the Integrated Treasure Operation (OBK) and cooperation to strengthen enforcement against the smuggling of wildlife at entry points by sea (port) and air (airport) in Sarawak, particularly in terms of information sharing for cases involving wildlife.
Also present during the courtesy call were the senior management of SFC and senior officers from the Sarawak Customs Department.
