KUCHING: The Society for Critically Sick Children (S.O.S Kids) has donated a unit of drying cabinet (worth approximately RM35,000) and 10 units of bedside cabinets (worth RM6,800) to Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Paediatric General Ward respectively of Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) to help improve the clinical services of PICU in the hospital.
First established in 2013, S.O.S Kids strives to help children who are faced with, or have survived, life threatening illness and their families cope with their medical conditions and meet their medical needs in the long journey of recuperation and recovery.
In addition, S.O.S Kids also aims to enhance clinical expertise of caring for critically sick children among healthcare workers through continuing medical educational activities.
