KUCHING: The Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (SHEDA) Property Expo 2023 has achieved remarkable success, with a total of 72 units transacted, amounting to a total value of approximately RM34 million.

Among the transacted units, 63 were strata-titled properties, while another nine belonged to landed developments, including 10 units from the renowned Sri Pertiwi Affordable Housing Development projects, and nine units situated in Kuala Lumpur.

Its organising chairman Steve Tan, in a statement last Wednesday, said over 60 per cent of the properties transacted during the expo were priced at RM500,000 and below.

He said the expo committee would continue to elevate the standards and relevance of talks and services offered during the event to address the needs of a wider audience.

The expo was held at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from July 14 to 16.

Tan also took the opportunity to extend his gratitude to Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government Michael Tiang; Ibraco Berhad; Lee Onn Development Sdn Bhd; Chen Ling Development Sdn Bhd; Housing Development Corporation (HDC); Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB); Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd; Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS); Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Sarawak; CTOS Sdn Bhd; and Greenbuildingindex Sdn Bhd.
