SEREMBAN: It has been over three months since they last saw their 88-year-old mother but that hasn’t stopped her five children from doing all they can in searching for her.
Soh Sian, had on the morning of Jan 15, taken her usual morning walk around the vicinity of her house in Kampung Temensu, Kuala Pilah, and was supposed to return as she usually would before having breakfast with her husband Teo Kok War, 88.
The couple’s third son Teo Beng Hua, 62, said that he had brought breakfast for his parents at about 9am that morning but she did not return from her walk.
The family then lodged a police report at the Kuala Pilah police station and had also put up postings of her disappearance on social networking sites and also posters of the elderly woman in several areas.
Beng Hua said that he and his siblings had tried looking for her in Kuala Pilah, Melaka and Johor but were unsuccessful.
His mother had no personal identification documents on her and the family was worried that she could be a victim of crime, he said at the office of the Negeri Sembilan State Urban Wellbeing, Housing, Local Government and New Villages Committee chairman, Teo Kok Seong.
