Sibu catches up with flags’ war

SIBU: With the various political parties’ flags having been erected at many strategic places around Sibu Town, the scenario has boosted the exciting mood of the 12th State Election here.

Checks by the New Sarawak Tribune found that flags of the political parties have sprung up along strategic places such as in the villages, residential areas, along the Igan bridge as well as along roadsides leading to the longhouses, just to name a few.

The flag war of the political parties has indeed created an interesting excitements pertaining to the coming polls among locals.

Flags belonging to Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and that of Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) have been put up at various strategic points and thereby heating up the war of flags and election fever.

This coming December 18 is polling day for the 12th State Election.
