MIRI: An owlet found perched on a woman’s vehicle on Friday is safe and sound in the custodian of Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC).

SFC, in a social media post, said that the woman had contacted its team here upon finding the owlet.

“Her motherly instinct prompted her to communicate with our team in Miri to collect an owlet found perched on her vehicle earlier today. She was concerned about the owlet’s safety and wellbeing.

“The woman was relieved when our officers arrived at 12:45pm at her house to retrieve the doe-eyed creature,” it said on Friday.

The corporation assured that the owlet is indeed in the safe and comfort hands of its team as the old saying goes “owl you need is love”.
