LIMBANG: Successfully restoring rights as enshrined in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) will be able to benefit Sarawak as a whole.

Deputy Minister of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail said through this, it will be able to boost the development activities carried out across Sarawak.

“Sarawak will see a spillover effect on development, especially with the appointment of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof to lead the MA63 Technical Committee.

“Several things have been achieved during Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s recent working visit to Sarawak.

“After this, more rights will be restored as stipulated in the agreement,” he was quoted as saying in a Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) report.

Meanwhile, federal Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Hasbi Habibollah hoped that the community in the country and the Limbang constituency, in particular, will continue to prosper while at the same time maintaining the spirit of unity.
