KUCHING: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) has given one councillor seat to SUPP Stakan in Kota Samarahan Municipal Council (MPKS).

SUPP Stakan chairman Sim Kiang Chiok thanked the party for giving the seat and SUPP Stakan for nominating him for the position.

However, Sim would like to seek a request for the party to consider one additional position in MPKS.

“We seek this for better coverage in our high density hyper growth area, especially at Jalan Datuk Mohd Musa, between the Unimas roundabout and the Sungai Kuap Bridge,” he said in his speech during the launching ceremony of SUPP Stakan new office, yesterday.

In addition, Sim encourage the public and the attendees to reach out to social media and put attention for the state leaders.

“This is for all of us to unite and compulsorily like and share all our presidents’ parties posts,” he said.

Sim stated that he believes with the increase of support from the public via social media, it could strengthen all of the chances in the upcoming state election.
