Taib and Raghad at the breaking-of-fast ceremony with MAKSAK members.

KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib attended breaking-of-fast ceremony with Malaysian Government Servants’ Welfare and Sports Council (MAKSAK) at the Astana Negeri here, yesterday.

According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), after breaking their fast, Taib along with other guests of honour and MAKSAK members performed the Maghrib, Isyak and Tarawih prayers.

At the event, the head of state also presented donations to 100 MAKSAK members.

Also present was State Secretary Datuk Amar Jaul Samion.
