Talib launches CENTEXS’ Integrity Week

KUCHING : Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS) Santubong, Kuching is celebrating its Integrity Week.

The Integrity Week 2017, from November 20 -24, was launched yesterday by Minister in the Chief Minister ’s Depar tment (Integrity and Ombudsman), Datuk Haji Talib Zulpilip, at CENTEXS in Santubong, about 35 minutes’ drive from here.

The programme, organised by the Integrity Committee of CENTEXS, includes talks on the danger of corruption, sports competitions as well as attending Friday prayers at Masjid Jamek at Petra Jaya.

Talib called on the CENTEX workforce to practise integrity, good governance and create youths who were not only skilful in technical skills but also honest. Talib also assured that technical training centres such as CENTEXS would be supported for inculcating integrity among its staff and trainees.

The launching of the Integrity Week also witnessed the reading of the Corporate Integrity Pledge led by CENTEXS’s Integrity Committee Chairperson, Khadijah Bt Haji Mohidin and also the presentation of the Letters of Appointment to the Integrity Committee by Talib, witnessed by CENTEXS’ Chief Executive Officer, Tuan Haji Wan Mohd Hussein Bin Wan Abdul Rahman and also Yayasan Sarawak’s Deputy Director, Mersal Bin Abang Rosli. There were also the signing of the plaque by Talib and a sketch performance by CENTEXS trainees.
