MELBOURNE: Representatives of Business Events (BE) Sarawak together with Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), Pullman Kuching and Pullman Miri Waterfront are taking part in the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) here.
The leading trade event for the meetings and event industry is being held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia from Feb 13 to 15.
BESarawak stated that Team Sarawak is consulting international business event planners on what Sarawak has to offer as a destination including the support and services available.
“International trade shows like AIME are vital to generate interest and leads for Sarawak.
“Team Sarawak is packing the calendar with more appointments, speaking to international planners with an interest to host business events in Sarawak.
“We are also meeting people from all walks of life who feel that Sarawak can meet their event needs,” it said in a social media post.
At the same time, BESarawak said Gloria Phang who is a corporate meeting and incentives specialist has been showing incentives planners some of the latest activities that can be done in Sarawak.
“Gloria has been meeting a few interested planners who are curious about Sarawak and eager to find out how we can support their future events.
“When speaking to planners, we also involve other industry players from Sarawak who are there for the trade show.
“These collaborative appointments give these planners extra assurance that Sarawak can take care of them and their needs,” it added.
