SIMUNJAN: Cooperation and teamwork between all the government agencies are crucial to spur development here said Rodiyah Sapiee.
The Batang Sadong Member of Parliament, in a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) today (Feb 9), said every agency should work together as a team to ensure the well-being of the people.
“The District Action Committee (DAC) is a high-profile meeting at the district level. So, it is important for cooperation from all parties.
“It is a form of a channel to inform the people down to the grassroots about any development whether in terms of physical development, infrastructure or socioeconomic development,” she said during a Special Meeting of the Simunjan DAC 2023 on Tuesday (Feb 7).
The meeting was chaired by the Simunjan District Officer, Seroji Ludin who also introduced himself to the members of the meeting as the new district officer.
Meanwhile, Simunjan assemblyman Awla Dris said the meeting also aimed to see the latest development in Simunjan District and actions taken by agencies or departments regarding projects.
Also present were the Samarahan Acting Resident Mohamad Irwan Bahari Bujang, Samarahan Deputy Resident Anuar Da’an, Seroji and others.
