MARUDI: A Form Three student died after his motorcycle apparently skidded and crashed into a drain along Jalan Kampung Pemindahan this morning.
The victim is identified as Calroney Charlse, 15.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Marudi station were dispatched to the scene following an emergency call around 7.20 am.
Upon arrival, they found an unconscious boy in the drain and they brought him out using a stretcher.
The victim was handed over to the paramedics, who confirmed that he had died at the scene.
His body was taken to the hospital for a post-mortem.
