KUCHING: Three families of members of the Territorial Army Regiment 511 in Simunjan received donations last Tuesday.

Eastern field commander, Lt-Gen Datuk Zamrose Mohd Zain, was pleased to be able to contribute the basic necessities to them to help reduce their burden.

He said it was the first time that members of the Territorial Army were deployed to enforce the movement control order (MCO).

“We feel that when they are on duty, their families should be well taken care of. Unfortunately, not everyone lives an easy life; some has it more difficult.

“We received an allocation from our government to help the wives and children, especially during Ramadan. In addition, it gives us a chance to get to know the families of our personnel who are on duty,” he said.

The Territorial Army Regiment 511 has been directed to help the security forces and the police enforce the movement control order (MCO).
