KUCHING: The 9th edition of Sarawak Livestock, Aquaculture, and Agriculture Expo will be held for three days, starting from Nov 24 to 26 at Kuching South City Council (MBKS) hall here.
According to a media release, more than 60 trade booth spaces, sized at 3 X 2 metres and 3 X 3 metres, complete with open-air cooling, are available for rent to interested individuals at reasonable prices.
Exhibition spaces in the MBKS hall, spanning 2,000 square metres, are also provided for companies to promote heavy machinery and equipment.
According to the manager and owner of Agrolife Kuching, Abang Hassimsah Abang Zainal, who is also a participant in the exhibition, the expo is seen as a prime platform for manufacturers, suppliers, and agricultural product entrepreneurs to promote their products.
“As a primary supplier of Nutri Multi organic fertiliser and palm oil growth fertiliser in Sarawak, such expos greatly assist in promoting the fertiliser products and the fertiliser store which are currently operating in Matang Jaya, here,” he said.
In addition to featuring a vibrant array of food and fruits for sale, the expo will also host seminars on cultivating durian trees.
Apart from the participation of private companies, the expo is also joined by relevant government agencies. The Minister of Food Industry, Commodity, and Regional Development Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom is expected to inaugurate at the event.
