KUCHING: Three single-storey terraced houses in Taman Hillview here were damaged by fire today.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) responded to an emergency call at 3 am by sending a team from the Kota Samarahan and Batu Lintang Fire and Rescue Department.
“Upon reaching the scene, the firefighters saw three single-storey terraced houses were on fire.
“The first house, located at the corner, was reported to have sustained 95 per cent damage. The second house was completely engulfed by flames, while the third house incurred 10 per cent damage. Two vehicles were also destroyed,” Bomba said in a press statement.
No injuries or casualties were reported.
The cause of the fire and losses incurred are yet to be ascertained.
