Three more longhouses placed under EMCO

KUCHING: Three more longhouses in Sarawak have been placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO).

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in its daily Covid-19 update statement today (Oct 23), said that Rumah Patrick Mawat, Sg Kerubong, Selalang Sarikei in Sarikei; Rumah Jonathan Ujek, Sg. Janting, Bintangor in Meradong and Rumah Tadong, Gerugu Sengaih in Julau would undergo the EMCO from today (Oct 23)  to Oct 29.

The committee also announced the end of the EMCO at four longhouses, namely, Rumah Suting, Punggu Dadak in Sri Aman and Rumah Francis, Kaong, Lidong, Skrang in Lubok Antu on Friday (Oct 22).

Meanwhile, the EMCO at Rumah Sigan, Pelo, Skrang in Lubok Antu ended today (Oct 23) while the EMCO at Rumah Jalin, Rantau Kurra, Kuala Medalam in Limbang will end tomorrow (Oct 24).
