MIRI: Three men cheated death after a car that they were travelling in crashed onto a road divider and tree in a self-accident on Friday night (Feb 8) nearby a petrol station along Jalan Dato Sri Balan Selling.

The accident was believed to have occurred around 10pm.

All injured victims have been rushed to Miri Hospital for medical treatment.

The car was badly damaged after the crash.

Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Superintendent Alexson Naga Chabu when contacted on Saturday said, the trio were heading towards Pujut 7 from Permyjaya area when they suddenly lose control of the car upon arriving at the scene.

“The car rammed into the road divider and crashed into a tree,” said Alexson.

Those victims are aged between 28 and 30.

Traffic police personnel were also despatched to the scene.
