A TOTAL of 447 lots from five projects in Bukit Assek, have not been issued with Road Certificates and Occupation Permits (OPs) and land titles for more than three years, as of April 30 this year.

Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Urban Development Datuk Len Talif Salleh said it involved 333 residential lots, 100 commercial lots and 14 industrial lots.

He said the Land and Survey Department has urged the property developers and owners to act promptly, especially in relation to the signing and return of Memorandum of Surrender and Alienation (MoSA), Memorandum of Surrender and Re-alienation (MoSRA) and to clarify all fees charged before the issuance of land title can be implemented.

He said this in his reply to Bukit Assek Chieng Jin Ek during the question and answer time today.

He also said for projects implemented before 2018, developers were only allowed to submit an application for approval of the Depositing of Survey Plan to the Land and Survey Department after obtaining an OP and Road Certificate from the local authority.

Based on the department’s client charter, Len Talif said, a period of 56 days for the issuance of a land title can be implemented from the date of submission of MoSA or MoSRA and payment of premiums and related fees by the owner or developer to the department.
