The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms and heavy rain expected to hit several areas in Sarawak until 4pm. Today (July 2).
The affected regions include Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Song, Kapit, Bintulu, Subis, Miri, Marudi, and Limbang.
This warning indicates the likelihood of short-term thunderstorms lasting up to six hours, accompanied by intense rainfall. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with weather advisories.
