MIRI: A 39-year-old woman was walking along a road at Miri airport yesterday morning when she heard a meowing sound.
Out of curiosity, she followed the ‘meowing’ sound, which led her to a lamp post along the road.
The woman was shocked, when she discovered a kitten trapped inside a hole of the lamp post.
She then immediately contacted the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) for help.
It took the APM personnel less than 10 minutes to retrieve the kitten from the hole.
