KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud led dignitaries at Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house today (Apr 23).
He and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib arrived at the venue, Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), at 1 pm and were greeted on arrival by Abang Johari.
Taib and Raghad spent about an hour at the open house.
Meanwhile, visitors from near and far thronged the open house hosted by Abang Johari to extend Raya greetings to the Premier and enjoy the festive Raya delicacies.
Dignitaries who came included Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development Aidel Lariwoo and the Premier’s chief political secretary Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman.
