ENHANCING DIGITAL CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY

SAMARAHAN: University Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) and PCSS Consultancy Sdn Bhd (PCSS) yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the development of educational activity in the area of digital technology in the construction industry.

The signing ceremony was inked by Unimas vice-chancellor Professor Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi and PCSS senior professional services manager Andy Tiong Meng Jun.

The ceremony witnessed by Dean of Faculty Engineering Associate Professor Dr Siti Noor Linda Taib and PCSS senior sales associate Afreda Aleng.

Such understanding signed outlines the terms of cooperation in the area of construction which would allow the development of activities.

It would also provide Unimas students with awareness and foundation especially in the advanced digital construction technology.

In addition to PCSS sharing experience, knowledge and practical skills on project management and 4D planning tools, both parties shall identify opportunities for joint efforts in research and development (R&D) within a defined set of domain areas.
