KUALA NERUS: Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) today launched the MyBahagia digital platform that enables brides and grooms-to-be to take pre-marriage courses online.

Its vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Hassan Basri Awang Mat Dahan said MyBahagia consists of 11 pre-marriage modules which were drawn up in accordance with the guidelines set by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia.

He said MyBahagia which was the first such application to be developed in the country served as an alternative to the previous pre-marriage course that required participants to be physically present at a certain time and venue.

“The suspension of pre-marriage course following the spread of Covid-19 has actually sparked ideas among our lecturers to develop this system which can become a relevant platform over the long run,” he told reporters after the launching of MyBahagia here.

Hassan Basri said MyBahagia application can be accessed via smartphones.

“The online course can take place anytime and anywhere and users have the options of either completing the modules within 11 hours the same day or according to their preferences,” he said.
