Vaccination programme in Sri Aman enters Phase 3

SIMANGGANG: The Dewan Suarah Sri Aman vaccination centre (PPV) has now entered the third phase of the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme with a capacity of 1,800 vaccine recipients per day.

Deputy Health Minister II Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang said the PPV has administered 1,428 doses of Sinovac vaccine yesterday (July 12).

“So far, 63 percent of the residents in Sri Aman have received their first dose of the vaccine while 24 percent out of 84,000 of the targeted residents have been fully vaccinated.

“I urged people in Sri Aman to register for the vaccination through the MySejahtera app or manually at the District Office,” he said during his visit to the Dewan Suarah Sri Aman PPV.

Also present during the visit were State Health Department deputy director (Management) Paul Sazin, Sri Aman Division Resident Indit Bangai and Sri Aman Division Health Office representative Dr Mohd Amin Samsudin.
