MIRI: Two young women narrowly escaped tragedy in a harrowing single-car crash along Miri-Pujut road last night (Apr 15).
Despite the severity of the accident, both miraculously survived, emerging from the wreckage with only minor injuries.
According to a report by Zone 6 Fire and Rescue Department, emergency responders swiftly arrived to provide aid after receiving a distress call on at 9.59 pm.
The incident, involving a four-wheel drive Toyota Prado, resulted in the vehicle overturning on the opposite side of the ditch.
The two women suffered slight injuries to their bodies.
Bomba Emergency Medical Response Services (EMRS) personnel upon their arrival at the scene, swiftly sprang into action, providing crucial initial treatment at the scene before transporting the injured victims to Miri Hospital for further medical attention.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
