MIRI: The cooperation between the people’s representative and Ketua Masyarakat and Ketua Kaum (KMKK) is important to help convey information to the constituents, said Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Sebastian Ting.
Ting, who is also Piasau assemblyman, said this after officiating at the presentation ceremony of the certificate of appointment to KMKK at Miri Resident’s Office held recently.
The Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) reported that among those who received the certificate of appointment were Penghulu Yong Kar Seng, Penghulu Pon Hon Kin, Penghulu Lee Thin Hin and Ketua Kaum Aminuddin Morshidi.
Also present were Miri Resident Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusuf and Miri District Officer Siti Rohanie Yusuf.
