KUCHING: Several areas in Sarawak are forecasted to experience continuous rain until tomorrow (March 12).
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), when issuing the warning at 9.20am, said that continuous rain is expected to hit Kuching, Serian, and Samarahan.
A continuous heavy rain alert is issued when heavy rain is expected to occur within one to three days or when the ongoing rain or thunderstorm is expected to continue.
The public is also urged to monitor the weather conditions through the department’s official website at https://www.met.gov.my/en/, the myCuaca mobile application, or the department’s official social media pages.
