MIRI: Laku Management Sdn Bhd is giving consumers a heads up on an upcoming disruption of water supply on Thursday (Mar 25) from 9am to 5pm.
The disruption of water supply is due to the plan to carry out new water mains interconnection works to SEB 330kV Substationalong Jalan Miri-Pujut on the date and time as mentioned.
As a result, the following areas will experience a low pressure or total disruption of water supply: Pelita Commercial Centre, Taman Merbau, Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Miri, Taman MDL, Taman Faradale, Shang Garden, 101 Commercial Centre, Boulevard Commercial Centre, Whole of Jee Foh and Krokop areas, Taman Yakin, Taman Desa Seri, Taman Boulevard, Jalan Padang Kerbau, Jalan Lilium, Tanjung Batu, Kampung Lereng Bukit and Pujut 1 to 6.
“Consumers are advised to store sufficient water supply for use during the disruption period.
“We regret any inconvenience caused and will strive to shorten the duration of the disruption,” said Laku.
Laku added that the water supply would gradually resume after 5pm but consumers may experience low pressure and water may be turbid.
