MIRI: A chain-collision occurred at noon yesterday at the entrance of a shopping mall’s car park at Jalan Post here.
Three vehicles including a Mercedez Benz were reported damaged in the 12pm incident where one person was injured.
According to Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, the collision occurred when one of the drivers stepped on his accelerator instead of the brake when approaching the parking ticket dispenser.
His car, therefore, crashed into the gate bar, damaging it.
It is said that one of the passengers in the car was on the way to a blood donation campaign being held at the mall that afternoon.
