A woman had to undergo a partial foot amputation after getting her foot caught in an escalator at an airport in Bangkok, Thailand yesterday morning (Jun 29).
Emergency procedures were carried out by medical teams at Don Mueang International Airport before she was rushed to Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital.
According to international media reports, the victim was later transferred to Bumrungrad International Hospital. It is said that there is a possibility of reattaching her foot.
